I have to say that cake is one of my favourite things in this world. When BakerDays got in touch with me asking me if I wanted to give one of their letterbox cakes a try, my day was made instanstly. Did you know you can get cake by post?! Yes, that's right. It would make such a gorgeous gift to a loved one or you could order yourself some to brighten up your Monday in the office.

The best thing is that the cakes can be personalised for many occasions. Since Valentines day is coming up I decided to go for a funny/soppy cake, which I gave to the boy. He absolutely loved it and I do too, especially since they have a gluten free option available! The cake comes in a beautiful tin which I will be keeping long after the cake has gone. The cake itself is really, really delicious, the sponge is really moist, soft and buttery. We've had it with a nice cup of coffee - a perfect Sunday treat!
