Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animals (Pt 2)

Christmas has been and gone, but me and the boy were lucky to have two Christmasses this year!

One with his family in England and a postponed Christmas with my Lithuanian family in Northern Ireland.

My mum is an absolutely amazing cook. She always makes amazing food when I come which I can't find anywhere else.

Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animals (Pt 1)

Merry Christmas lovelies!

This is post is very late because I have been very busy all day eating, napping, drinking  and burning a hole in the sofa.

Today is really a Christmas celebration part 1 as on the 27th we will have a second postponed Lithuanian Christmas in Ireland with my family.

The boys mum is amazing with her Christmas table decorations so I just had to make some pictures of it.

This was probably the best cooked ham I've ever had, home cooked by Oliver's dad David.

With all the meat, chocolate and cheese it's safe to say that I have probably consumed about a weeks worth of saturated fat in one day. I don't even feel bad about it!

For one of the boy's parents present I bought a custom made Lithuanian Honey cake (Medutis) which tastes absolutely heavenly.

I hope your Christmas has been as lovely as mine!

Festive Love,

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

It's almost Christmas!!

It doesn't really feel like Christmas Eve, it seems that Christmas has sneaked up so fast this year.
This evening I will be doing the last touches of gift wrapping, playing with the cats, watching Christmas episodes of Friends and drinking lots of Chococinos.
Oliver's parents house always looks stunning at Christmas and this year they have the most amazing real Christmas tree which smells like a magical winter forest.

Sunny the Ragdoll kitten loves Christmas because there are lots of shiny decorations to play with.
Which also means that he tires himself out and then falls asleep on me and pretty much everywhere around the house.

Wrapping Presents

I'm really not very good at wrapping presents and in all honesty and I usually get bored after doing one or two. I've tried to keep myself a little more excited about wrapping by buying some nice wrapping paper on a budget.
The roll of paper below is from Paper Chase and has a really nice crafty look to it.

I bought the name tags from Poundland, they came in a really nice set of 36 cards with 4 different designs and all for a £1! Bargain.

The Blue and Red Polka dot paper are from Primark and I think they were only £1 or £1.50 a roll.
I also bough three single sheets of wrapping paper as I absolutely fell in love with the Blue Sheep textured paper from Clintons, plus they had a buy one get one free deal so I just couldn't say no...

The other sheet I chose was the cat printed one below because, well it has cats on it!
I can't take credit of the packaging for this one.
We bought some hand made natural soaps from the Leeds Corn Exchange Christmas craft market last weekend and the lady was kind enough to wrap it up for us. It took a lot of self control not to keep this for myself.

Another sheet of paper which I think is absolutely stunning is the Reindeer paper which I bought from the Dean Clough Gallery shop in Halifax.

How are you spending your Christmas Eve?

I hope it's lovely and cozy whatever you get up to!

Merry Christmas!

Mega Healthy Breakfast Eggs

How do you like your eggs in the morning?

I like mine pretty much every way there is. Eggs are one of the most versatile, healthy breakfast options. You can dress them up or dress them down as you like.

It's the day before Christmas (YAY!) which means it's more tempting than ever to opt in for a bacon sandwich or a full Engish/Irish fry up for breakfast which will only leave you feeling bloated and lethargic later.

Below is one of my spontaneous breakfast creations which I promise tastes super scrumptious!

Search For A Christmas Outfit

Just over a week a go me and my lovely friend Kate had a girly day together. We explored the cobbled streets by the canal, had a mini photoshoot and did some Christmas shopping.
After the taking some photos we were absolutely freezing so we stopped off for a much needed coffee break.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Hello there,
This year I feel really Christmassy. It seems I got a little bit of the childlike excitement back which I had pretty much lost over the last couple of years.
This year is the first year that me and the boy are living together by ourselves. Previously we both lived as housemates who were also a couple with our friends. It was lots of fun, however it's nice to finally have a place that we can make our own.
This meant it's also our first ever year shopping for Christmas decorations and boy was it exciting!
Below you can see how we have made our flat feel more cosy and christmassy.

Winter Fashion Essentials For A Frosty Day Out

Yesterday me and my best friend Kate decided to take advantage of the fact that it wasn't pouring it down with rain (such is life living in the North!)  and went exploring the little cobbled streets by the Leeds Canal.
