Lobster Homeware Apron Review

One of my favourite weekend pass times is cooking and baking! I absolutely love it and since having to cut gluten out of my diet a couple of years ago I bake a lot now. One thing that's always been missing from my kitchen pantry is a good apron. I usually end up covered in batter and flour and have to put my clothes straight into the dishwasher afterwards. When Lobster Homeware got in touch with me telling me that they would love me to review one of their beautiful aprons I was delighted!
There are three gorgeous designs to choose from with more available to preorder. I chose Meeha* the beautiful peachy floral apron.

All Lobster Homeware aprons are lovingly hand made in the UK, and the story behind the company is really quite heartwarming. A lady called Nathalie designed these beautiful aprons in 2001 and after she suffered a heart attack her brother Alec helped to get her business off the ground. I think the fact that every one of these aprons is handmade with love makes it even more special!

I am absolutely in love with my apron! It's beautiful, the design is so intricate ( I mean just look at that pattern, I could wear it all day every day!), very well made and oh so practical!
You can adjust the apron to your height so one size really does fit all and there are oven gloves attached to it which I think is amazing as I'm always running around the kitchen looking for my gloves when the alarm goes off and the baked goods need to come out of the oven. The gloves are actually detachable although I choose to keep mine attached so I don't misplace them...
This gorgeous apron costs £45 which in all honesty is more than I usually would consider spending on an apron but since I've received it, I can honestly say that I think it's absolutely worth the money and I can imagine it will last me for many years to come. It would also make a really lovely gift for anyone who enjoys spending time in the kitchen and wants to look good whilst doing so!

I have been doing lots of baking since I received my apron and one of the recipes is a Gluten Free Lemon Cream Cake which you can find here.

Until next time,

  1. Well, don't you look absolutely adorable! I lack an apron in my life so I'll be sure to have a look at Lobster.
