Cake Date at Filmore and Union in Leeds

Catching up with friends over some delicious cake is my favourite.
Unfortunately, though, when you have a gluten intolerance cake dates can be a little difficult.
I was meeting up with Sarah from whatsasssays and suggested that we go to Filmore and Union because they have a great selection of gluten free cakes.

It's strange, I've walked past it many times, but I never really noticed it or until I read Sarah's blog post about it.

It's situated in the wonderful Victoria Quarter arcade.

After eyeing up all of the cakes we both settled on the Gluten Free Blondie. Honestly it was the BEST blondie I have ever had. I'm actually salivating just a little right now remembering how good it was.

We also ordered some freshly squeezed juices which were really refreshing.  I had the 'Slim down' which is a little ironic to say as I was enjoying it with a cake! It's made with pineapple, lemon, orange, apple and strawberries and I would very highly recommend it.

One good thing about having blogger friends is that they want to take just as many photos as you!

You can also buy gluten free granola and roasted coffee! I didn't get any, but I think I will be coming back for the granola and of course for more cake.Gluten free cake at Filmore and Union Leeds

Tea at Filmore and Union Leeds

As well as many great choices for juices and smoothies Filmore and Union also offer a great selection of teas. They also seem to have a great food menu which I might just have to go back and try! If you're ever in Leeds city centre I recommend you pay this wonderful little restaurant a visit.

Until next time,
