On Friday I received what I could only describe as my favourite tweet to date from the guys behind Leeds Feast.
They informed that I won two tickets to the food festival and £50 worth of food and drinks vouchers to spend over the weekend. My day was made there and then!
I very rarely win anything so some part of me didn't fully believe it until, I was handed the passes and the vouchers.
Leeds Feast was held at the Tetley Gallery in Leeds and it was a weekend full of street food, craft beer, great music and sunshine, organised by Belgrave Feast and Leeds Indie Food.
Tanya was very pleased with her choice too!
I ordered a Vietnamese Noodle salad from a different vendor, but I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo of my food!
There was also a rather large bar and DJ stage in a tent. They were serving lofts of craft beers and some delicious cocktails. I sampled a raspberry beer and a rum cocktail both of which were absolutely delicious( the cocktails only cost £5.50!).
After beer and cocktails we decided it was time for some cake and coffee.
Noisette Bakehouse had a great variety of cakes to choose from. We had Orange and Pecan gluten free cake which was absolutely delightful and I absolutely loved that they decorated the cake with a flower, so pretty!

The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant, it really did feel like a little festival! The weather really couldn't have been any better either, it was very sunny and actually warm for once!
After we checked out all of the food vendors Tanya decided on sampling some vegetarian Indian goodness from Manjits Kitchen. I can't remember what the meal she ordered was called but I certainly had never heard of it before! It was really delicious, there was so many different flavours and textures, it was one of the most exciting vegetarian meals I had ever tried!

We got our coffees from Layne's Espresso who never disappoint.
I had such a great time at Leeds Feast, it was one of my favourite events that I have attended in Leeds so far.
Until next time,
Can't believe you won all those vouchers and the free tickets - so awesome!!
